Does swimming in chlorinated pools cause skin to become darker?

My swimming pool club people use chlorine as a disinfectant and I want to know if chlorine can cause darkening of the skin…?

    No, swimming outside in the sun will cause your skin to become darker.

    Actually it might, the chlorine might add a layer of crispiness for the sun to help burn

    Chlorine is effectively a bleach – it won’t darken your skin. The sunlight however…..
