I would like to swim everyday after work, I work on chestnut, but I don’t want to b spending $45+ a month just to do so. Are there any pools near by, or somewhere between marina and west portal in the first place, and if so are there any that are inexpensive?

I hear a lot of people here on yahoo say that their hair turns green from swimming in swimming pools. I cant believe this because i go to the swimming pool very often in summer and i have blonde hair but it never turns green. And I dont know anybody whose hair has turned green either. Do you put anything strange in you pools? Has your hair ever turned green or do you know or have you ever seen anybody whose hair has turned green from swimming pools?

Cerebral Rebel asked:

I have started swimming regularly in a lido (outdoor swimming pool). It is supposedly heated to 26C (78.8F) but it feels pretty cold when you get in. I’m used to an indoors pool that was heated nearer 28-30C (84.2F). Are colder swimming pools better or worse for you? I’m in London and plan to use this pool all year round – it will be heated to 26C all year apparently.
Please explain why one is better than the other. Thaks.

Why do some people get nosebleeds when jumping into swimming pools?

Jonah W asked:

I used to get nosebleeds all the time when jumping into a pool. It gets me really mad because I want to do flips into the pool but I can’t because I’lll get a bloody nose. My nosebleeds have really limited my swimming abilities and swimming fun. I do have allergees though. What causes this and why does this happen? Lots of other people get this too.
